So we’ve lost Gunslingrrr to the vortex that is Europe… We all hope he finds whatever he’s looking for. But life goes on! And we have the unique opportunity to add another friendly face to our little family up here… so before hitting the freakshow otherwise known as Craigslist, we thought we’d ask y’all if you’re looking, or know someone that is.

Penthaus: 8th/willow Penthouse suite, Elevator entrance, huge kitchen w/ skylight, bar w/ mini fridge, mirrors everywhere, huge living room, massive deck, bathroom with double-person shower, fireplace, 180 degree view of DT Vancouver that is to die for…

Everything is close by! Skytrain is 3 blocks away. Cambie (3 blks away) has Save-On-Foods, London Drugs, Whole Foods, Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Toyo Sushi (best sushi ever), and up on Broadway there are: 3 banks (TD, Bank of Montreal, CIBC), Shoppers Drug Mart (cheapest cigarettes, btw) Bananna Leaf Restaurant, Earls, Wendy’s, Timmy Ho’s, A&W, Quiznos. Down a block we got a starbucks, subway, 7-11 and a family run grocery store.

Us: Me, Swash and his GF, very friendly and sociable. 2/3 of us are ciggy smokers but we keep that to the outdoors. We like to host on the weekends, and stay out till the late hours. But during the week, we are usually very busy and like to work into the night. We are somewhat clean. We smoke in the haus (not cigarettes…) and watch Ninjavideo (stream movies/TV through the internet connected to the TV) when we got downtime after a hard day’s work. We like to have fun, when fun can be had, but at the same time we buckle down and are considerate when needed. We also really like vinyls.

You: Easy going, NOT a clean-freak but not a slob, like to party occasionally/are ok with our drunken episodes, must be OK with our Cat (Sadie the slut), must be able to pay rent on time, must NOT have a drug problem (I mean the hard stuff), and preferably you are also mentally stable…

Rent is 650/month, and would have to be OK with your room. It’s a bit of a special situation, as it is a converted dining room… but we can work out whatever to make you most comfortable. It’s a bargain considering the apartment and area it’s in!
